Looks very similar to plain prinia. But with a slightly thicker bill and sturdy tail.A faint Supercilium may or maynot be there. Diagnostic when it is absent. Adults in breeding plumage will show prominent white outer tail feathers and black bill. In Non breeding plumage, shows a relatively longer tail with pale tips. Mainly insectivorous. Expected to see in Dry scrubby areas with grasslands.
