Looks: Found in dark and pale morphs. In all plumages shows small white shoulder patches, pale wedge on inner primaries. Pale morph birds have buff white below with black streaks and white underwing coverts. Dark phase birds have brown above and below. Tail pale below with dark banded and pale tipped. Immature birds looks like immature Brahminy kite but has square ended tail. Lives: well wooded areas and also around cultivation.
