Looks: Sandy brown plumage with heavy streakings. Whitish underparts. Long and bare yellow legs and large eyes are diagnostic. White wing patch visible during flight. Lives: open dry scrubby or stony areas, dry river banks.
മൺനിറത്തിൽ വ്യക്തമായിക്കാണുന്ന കറുത്തവരകളുള്ള വയൽക്കണ്ണന്റെ അടിവശം വെളുത്തനിറമാണ്. മഞ്ഞക്കാലുകളും ഉണ്ടക്കണ്ണും ഇവയെ എളുപ്പം തിരിച്ചറിയാൻ സഹായിക്കുന്നു. തുറന്ന മുൾക്കാടുകളിലും ഇവയ്ക്കിടയിലുള്ള നീർച്ചാലുകളിലുമാണ് ആവാസം.
