Looks: Male: Greyish in plumage with black head, throat and upper-breast, paler grey underparts. Wings are darker grey with pale fringes. Female: Paler grey upperparts and whitish underparts with heavy barrings, buff white belly and undertail coverts. Shows a whitish supercilium, dark eye stripe and pale fringes to wing coverts. Lives: Villages, plantations, groves.
