Looks: Greyish brown upperparts and underparts. White belly. Smaller greyish head and neck compare with similar looking Grey headed fish eagle. Shorter tail, blackish brown above and greyish below with dark subterminal band. Wing tips almost reach tail tip at rest. Juvenile birds have pale head and unstreaked under parts and less prominent dark tail band. Lives: Lakes, reservoirs, forest streams.
