Looks: Pigeon like slimmer head and longer neck are the best feature to identify. Variable colour morphs. Commonly found in greyish brown with dark grey head and small crest. Male has grey face, two or three tale bands and brown iris. Under parts streaked or barred. Female has yellow iris and brown face. Frequently hunts honey combs. Lives: forest, cultivation.
