A Rare vagrant to India and Sri-Lanka, Only few report from Kerala. Looks very similar to wood sandpiper. But has prominent streaked breast which is sharply demarcated from the belly. Have Pale yellow legs and a narrow white band on the upper wing. Habitat : freshwater wetlands
